Schools

This section is dedicated to the two schools in our area. You can click on the headings to go to their own websites.

Lane End Primary School logo

Lane End school has been at the end of Ramillies Avenue since about 1970, though the original building was replaced in around 1990 with a brand new one a little nearer the end of the road.

It caters for children aged from 4 to 11 and there are a little over 200 pupils. In its latest Ofsted inspection, it received a Grade 1 Outstanding which is testimony to the high standard of work by all the teachers.

There is an active parent-teacher association and parents are encouraged to join in all aspects of the school day. For more details, use the link to go to the school site.
